- It's the start of fall and time to get all the the Audubon Center's ongoing native plant project ready for the coming wet season. We will be clearing out invasive plant species, while watering and mulching all the natives. This will prepare them to catch and retain all the rain we're about to get.
- Bring your water bottle, a bandana, work gloves (if you want to use your own), sunscreen, and a hat. Long pants/sleeves are recommended but not required.
- Side note: this is by far my FAVORITE place to volunteer. Wonderful people and community, in a park that is so vital to connecting the people of Los Angeles with our backyard wild. Come get your hands dirty with me!
